Gas Pipelines
We are one of the UK’s largest licensed independent gas transporter with over
80,000 connected customers. We will consider any development requiring 3 or more
connections, both commercial and domestic.
Design & Delivery
We provide comprehensive connections to existing main, right through to meter fit.
All our connections are made to intermediate, medium and low pressure mains.
Our installations are carried out by experienced direct labour or framework partners
and are completed to rigorous gas industry standards. All our installations covered by
the 0800 111 999 standard national emergency gas telephone number.
We supply meter boxes, service ducting and gas warning marker tape, and we
include all off site trenching and traffic management.
Investment
We work with you providing capital investment, client payback incentives and
freedom of choice for your gas supplier. We also offer market leading asset values to
adopt existing gas connections.

consumer
Our Expertise
Utility Solutions have over 80,000 gas connections throughout the UK with a further
40,000 awaiting connection. This has firmly established SSE Pipelines as one of the
UK's leading independent gas transporters. We complete existing network capacity
checks to establish any reinforcements or charges. If found these will be passed
through at cost.
